. TO Tflß BDITOB 0» IKB »XOB. \ - Sir,—The public of Cnristehureh iwho are interested in things Maori and who visit the Canterbury Museum cannot now fail to notice the improved lay-out of the exhibits in the Maori House. A lot of inferior material which detracted from a ready observance of objects which really set out Maori craftsmanship, has been removed; and the notes accompanying the specimens left cannot fail fo edu-
cate the average visitor, however much the donors of junk.may possibly feel. The museum staff is worthy of commendation for its task.—Yours etc., WIREMU TEIRA. June 16, 1938.
