INDOOR BOWLS
Indoor bowling matches for the Hon. D. G. Sullivan trophy, between the Christchurch women bowlers and Addington Railway Workshops was started last night. Results of the first three rounds played are as follows; First Round—Mrs Chapman, Saunders, Mrs Tumber, and Carrell (s.) 21, Mrs James, Conway, Mrs White, and Duns (s.) 14; Mrs Newton, Kaye, Mrs Carrell, and James (s.) 25, Mrs Colquhoun, McLaren, Miss Wardlow, and Mann (s.) 19; Mrs Wass, McCullough, Mrs Travis, and Colquhoun (s.) 22, Mrs Dann, Burgess, Mrs Legge, and Kettle (s.) 17; Miss A. Wardlow, Firth, Mrs Sampson, and Chapman (s.) 17, Mrs McKenzie, Grimwood, Mrs Buchanan, and Young (s.) 15. Second Round —Carrell 22, Colquhoun 14; Duns 21, James 16: Chapman 21, Mann 15: Young 32, Kettle 12. Third Round—Carrell 20, Mann 16; Young 17, James 11; Colquhoun 19, Chapman 18; Duns 22, Kettle 22.
