WOMEN’S TEMPERANCE UNION

LINWOOD BRANCH The monthly meeting of the Linwood branch of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union was held m the Baptist Schoolroom, with Mrs Mackie presiding. At the commencement of the meeting members stood as a mark of respect to a late, member, Mrs Campbell, and to Mrs Hunter’s daughter. The consecration hymn was sung and prayers were said for the two bereaved families. The “Y” superintendent reported on the progress of the youth rally lor Sunday, June 12.
