Although the professional wrestling bout held on Saturday night' ■ between ’’Lofty" Blomfield and Andy Moen, both 16st 81b, was fast and interesting, It came to a somewhat -unsatlsfactory ending. Moen took a fall with a headlock in the fifth round, Blomfield equalising in the seventh with -a clamp. Moen was still feeling the effects when he came out for the eighth, round and, sparring for a time, he used the ropes whenever possible. At this stage .the, referee, Mr Frank Anderson, stopped the, bout and gave the decision to Blomfield, though Moen insisted he was able-and willing to continue. KENNEDY BEATS JENSEN (PRESS ASSOCIATION' TELEGRAM.) GREYMOUTH, May 29. After a lively encounter Jack Kennedy beat Leo Jensen by two falls to one in a wrestling contest on Saturday night, the bout ending in thd sixth round. Kennedy gained his first fall with a body press following a series of elbow jolts in the second round. Jensen equalised with a Japanese arm lock in the fourth. Jensen was compelled to submit immediately to a Boston crab on the start of the sixth round.
