"PARES: Special cheap excursion ticx kets to Oamaru will be issued from Christchurch and stopping stations by the 7.7 a.m. special on Saturday, 7th May, available for return on day of issue only. TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS: On Friday, 6th May, special horse train (with passenger accommodation) taking horses from Christchurch. Addington, Sockburn, Templeton, Rolleston, Dunsandel, Rakaia, Ashburton, and where required Tinwald to Timaru, leaves Christchurch 8.40 a.m., arrives Oamaru 2.45 p.m. On Saturday, 7th May, special train leaves Christchurch 7.7 a.m., Addington 7.12, Sockburn 7.18, Rolleston 7.37, Rakaia 8.13, Ashburton 8.46 a.m. Stops at stations mentioned and if required at Templeton. Dunsandel. Orari, Temuka, and Timaru to pick up passengers for Oamaru. Stops opposite Oamaru Racecourse to set down passengers, arrives Oamaru 11.33 a.m.; also picks up passengers at stopping stations for Rakaia, Ashburton, Orari, Temuka. and Timaru. Return train, stopping at Timaru and where required north thereof to allow passengers to alight, leaves Oamaru 6.0 p.m., arrives Christchurch 10.50 p.m.; also stops if required to pick up passengers at Timaru, Temuka, Orari, Ashburton, and Rakaia for Temuka. Orari, Ashburton, Rakaia, and Christchurch. Return horse train will leave Oamaru 6.23 D.m. (Oamaru Racecourse 7.20 p.m.). Christchurch arrive 1.4 a.m. (Sunday. On Sunday, Bth and 15th May, trains leave Christchurch for Timaru at 8.30 a.m., 9.15 a.m., and 5.55 p.m., and Timaru for Christchurch at 8.10 a.m., 9.5 a.m., 4.52 p.m., and 5.30 p.m. On Sunday, 22nd May, trains leave Christchurch for Timaru at 8.30 a.m., 9.15 a.m., 5.55 p.m., and 6.36 p.m., and Timaru for Christchurch at 8.10 a.m., 9.5 a.m., 4.52 p.m., and 5.30 p.m. For particulars of stops inquire at stations. Rangiora 10.10, Sefton 10.24, Amberley 10.44, arriving Greneys road 10.50 a.m., leaving Waipara 11.8, Waikari 11.33 a.m.. NEYS ROAD AND RACECOURSE: BUS FARE Is EACH WAY. Special fast horse train (with car accommodation for passengers) will leave Sockburn 7.50 a.m. for Greneys road. It will lift horses at Addington, Papanui, J also take ordinary passengers from Sockburn. Horse train will leave Christchurch 7.50 a.m. for Addington to connect. Return horse train will leave Greneys road 5.15 p.m. SHOULD THE RACES BE POSTPONED THE SPECIAL TRAINS WILLNOT RUN. CHEAP FARES: Return tickets, available for day of issue only, at fares quoted below, will be issued to Greneys road on 7th May from Sockburn and stations Christchurch to Sefton inclusive.
