QUEEN’S MOTHER VERY ILL
(Received April 28, 11 p.m.) LONDON, April 28. ' The “Daily Mail” says the Queen’s mother, the Countess of Strathmore, is seriously ill at her London home. Queen Elizabeth visited her twice yesterday. * A later message says the Countess ®f Strathmore is slightly better. She came to London to attend the wedding, which is to take place today, between Viscount Anson, eldest son of the Earl of Lichfield,i and the Hon. Anne Bowes-Lyon, the Queen’s niece.
