The annual meeting of the Hunmul Rugby Sub-Union was held recently at Walau. Mr W. V. Mockett presided. The balance-sheet showed a bank balance of £9l 13s 7d. The report said that the senior representative team had defended the Southbridge Shield on lour occasions but had been beaten by the Canterbury Colts. „ It was decided to open the competitions on May 7. . „ _ .
