STAR OF OPAWA LODGE

Five candidates were initiated at the meeting of the Star of Opawa Lodge 1.0.0. F., at which Bro. F. Aspinall presided over, a large attendance. It was announced that the second degree would be conferred at the next meeting of the district lodge. For the second nomination of officers, the following were proposed:—N.G., Bro J Kotoul; V.G., Bro. R. Kissack; secretary P.G. Bro. S. W. Perkins; treasurer P G Bro. O. Thompson; recording secretary, P.G. Bro. H. J. Spence. A ballot was necessary for the election for the standing committee to which P.G.'s Bros. Falkingham, Parks. Cooke, O. Thompson, and Spence were elected. The D.D.G.M. (P.G. Bro. G. Scarlett) was heartily welcomed, with the N.G. and officers of the Washington Lodge.
