LABOUR MEETING AT SUMNER
■ * The third annual meeting of the Sumner-Rodcliffs branch of the New Zealand Labour Party was held last week. The Rev. W. Rutland Martin presided. The annual report was adopted. The secretary’s report showed that the number of financial members had increased considerably, and that the year finished with a satisfactory credit balance. The following officers were elected: President and delegate to the Labour Representation Committee, the Rev. W. Rutland Martin; vice-president, Mr J. S. Barr; secretary and treasurer, Mr D. F. Dicjk; executive committee, Messrs L. Cant, F. Miles, and W. R. E. Thompson, and Mesdames L. Cant and W. Morton; branch auditors, Messrs M. Anderson, and F. Miles.
