MR DE VALERA RETURNS
♦ DISCUSSIONS RESUMED, WITH BRITAIN (BHITISH OFFICIAL WIRELESS.) RUGBY, March 3. Mr de Valera returned to London to-day, accompanied by other Ministers, to resume the conversations with the United Kingdom Ministsrs. It is understood that to-day's discussions ranged over a wide field, including partition, defence, trade, and finance. It is believed that on partition there was no change in the position of the two sides, which has already been made clear. A trade agreement has not yet been reached, and the discussions on this matter will continue to-morrow. In well-informed quarters no breakdown in the negotiations is anticipated. . The Ministers on both sides, who are concerned with trade, also held a meeting to-day. 1 It is stated that Mr de Valera and his Ministers will remain in London over the week-end.
