HEAVY SENTENCES ON FIVE ACCUSED

METZ, February 25

An important spy trial has concluded, of which no details are available, except the names and sentences. The sentences , are as follows:

A German, Baron Rudolph von Puchen, aged 63, a former colonel in the Austrian army, and Theodore Albrccht, aged 65, each sentenced to 15 years' imprisonment. Dr. Walter Hartmann, aged 38, correspondent of a Viennese newspaper in Paris, 12 years. Henri Nolte, aged 27, a former sergeant in the Foreign Legion, five years. Hans Lorentz, who was alleged to be the head of a spying organisation, in his absence, 20 years.
