REDCLIFFS BURGESSES' ASSOCIATION
The annual meeting of the Ttedcliffs Burgesses' Association was held recently. Mr H. Nettleton presided.
The following officers were elected: —Patron, Mr A. W. Beaven; president. Mr Hunt; vice-preside/its* Messrs Nettleton, Perry, and Neilson; committee, Messrs Hamilton, Fowler, Walter Cookson, and Stevens; auditor, Mr A. W. Hullett; trustees, Messrs Barton and Neilscm; secretary, Mr Barton. A discussion took place on the necessity of a swimming bath for Redcliffs, and it was decided to consider the matter further at the next meeting. Mr Hunt moved that the council be asked to improve the bend at Cave terrace and Moncks spur, and this was agreed to. After discussion it was decided that the association withdraw from affiliation with the United Burgesses' Association.
