RUGBY LEAGUE
•TOURS DISCUSSED BY CONFERENCE KBW ZEALAND TEAM MAY VISIT ENGLAND (rsKsa association txlkobam.) ' AUCKLAND, February 27. Opening a special conference of the New Zealand Rugby League to-day, the president (Mr J. A. Redwood), of Auckland, predicted a most prosperous season. The conference is mainly concerned with the pending visit of a New Zealand team to Australia, the possible fiait of a New Zealand team to England, and the extension of the game in the Dominion. Reports of progress in various districts were given by Messrs Grey Campbell (Auckland), R. T. Hill (South Auckland), C. Goodman (Canterbury), J. Stokes (West Coast), H. C. McCready (Bay of Plenty) and C. Durickicy (Northland). The conference is discussing plans /tor an iiitdrptovincial competition.
