WOMAN INJURED IN COLLISION When knocked off the bicycle she was riding by a motor-lorry yesterday, Mrs D. Kirk, of 22 Stanley street, Sydenham, suffered a fractured left arm. The accideiit occurred at the corner of Caledonian road and Canon street. Mrs Kirk was taken by St. John Ambulance to the Public Hospital, where she received medical attention. While crossing the Tahuna road, opposite her home at Mangateparu, six mites from Mofrinsville, on returning from school shortly after 3 o’clock this afternoon, Phyllis Audrey Marwood, aged five and a half, a daughter of Mr and Mrs William G. Mrs John NOttle, of Peel street, Westport, an aged woman, was treated at the Duller Hospital this evening for a brokeh collarbone and abrasions inchirred as a result of ah accident in a car driven by, her husband in Palmerston street. After starting the, car, Mf Nottle leaded Over to shut th§ door on his wife’s side, ahd losing control of the vehicle he crashed into an electric power pole. The car Was only slightly damaged.
