ARMING AT HIGH SPEED
STATEMENT FROM GERMAN WAR OFFICE (Received February 23, 8.36 p.m.) BERLIN, February 23. General von Brauchitsch, Chief of the General Staff, told foreign military attaches who were visiting the War Office that Germany is rearming at high speed, and will continue to rearm until she is in a position to defend fully her entire territory. MORE FRENCH MONEY FOR ARMAMENTS EXCEPTIONAL CREDITS EXCEED £ 21,000,001) (Received February 23, 8.40 p.m.) > PARIS, February 23. A council of Ministers decided ■on further exceptional credits for national defence exceeding £21,000,000.
