LODGE MEETINGS
BENEVOLENT LODGE Interesting experiences of members when on holiday were related at the last meeting of the Benevolent Lodge. Bro. R. F. Andrews, N.G., congratulated P.G. Bro. A. E. Foster on being elected president of the Juvenile Council. CITY OF CHRISTCHURCH Bro. H. E. Taylor, noble grand of the Loyal City of Christchurch Lodge, presided at the meeting on Monday evening. Two members were initiated. A letter of congratulation was sent to Bro. C. E. T. Hill on attaining 88 years of age. P.G. Bro. N. E. Taylor was nominated by the lodge for the office of district deputy-grand master, and P.G. Bro. N. E. Taylor and P.G. Bro. L. Bigg were nominated for office on the management committee. The lodge entertained members of the Loyal Sisters of Pearce, Benevolent, and Kaiapoi Lodges.
