ANIMAL PROTECTION SOCIETY
A credit balance of £3 lis 4d was shown in a statement presented by the treasurer to the monthly meeting of the Animal Protection Society. In a report of the work carried out during the last month the honorary inspector, Miss O. Barr. said that four dogs had been taken charge of and six unwanted cats had been dealt with. Homes had been obtained for an Irish terrier and a lost kitten. An inspection paid to Wirth's Circus
showed that every care and consideration was extended to the animals there.
