♦ CIIARGF AGAINST BRITISH RETAILER LONDON, January 19. "You can put an Empire label on New Zealand lamb, but must not put a New Zealand label on Empire lamb," said Mr H. H. J. Ricketts. defending the Royal Arsenal CoSociety, which was fined 20s at Wimbledon for exposing for sale imported meat with a false description. Mr Ricketts said that there was no question of fraud. An inexperienced additional shopman, during the Christmas rush, put a New Zealand label on Empire lamb because no Empire labels were available-
