WOMAN REPORTED MISSING
* ESIDENT OF PORT CHALMERS Miss Mate McLeod, who is a resident of Port Chalmers, was reported missing to the Lyttelton police yesterday. Miss McLeod, who is described as being about 37 years old, arrived in Lyt-. telton on Tuesday and booked a room at the Mitre Hotel. However, the room was not occupied on Tuesday night and her luggage and effects were still intact yesterday morning. The police made a search of the inner harbour yesterday afternoon without avail.
