RACING GELDING DESTROYED
i Received January H). 12.15 a.m.) SYDNEY, January 18. The well-known racing gelding High Cross, which was injured in a racing smash at Canterbury on Saturday, was destroyed to-day, because of the disclosure of a broken bone close to the hock. The jockey, Keith Cook, who rode High Cross, is showing signs of improvement. He has intervals of consciousness.
