♦ IMPROVEMENT WORK PLANNED THE SUPPLEMENTARY ESTIMATES SUBSIDIES ANNOUNCED [From Our Parliamentary Reporter.] WELLINGTON, December 6. Considerable additional expenditure on roading in the Canterbury, West Coast, and Nelson districts is provided for in the Supplementary Estimates, which were tabled in the House of Representatives this afternoon. Although none of the grants is of any magnitude, a great deal of improvement work will be involved.
