EUROPE AND ANTI-COMMUNISM
TO TUB EUITOB. OF TUB FBEBS. Sir, —W. T. Kingston does not in the least damage the assertion in your editorial that the peace of the world can only be saved by nn alignment of the Soviet Union. France, and Great Britain, who could rally round them all the smaller peace-loving Powers.
The so-called Anti-Communist Pact Is a covering for the war plans of the Fascist powers, the idea being to give one another mutual support. The greatest force for peace in the ■world is the Soviet Union. No other power has ever been so consistent in its support of peace.—Yours, etc.,
S. H. BECK. Rangiora, November 12, 1937.
