WOMEN’S TEMPERANCE UNION AT SUMNER
Miss A. E. Henderson presided at the monthly meeting of the Sumner branch of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union, and, after a warm welcome to All present, gave a most interesting address on her. mission work in India. It was reported that the jubilee home Vad bieri: visited in September by Mesuames .H,. <?. Ford and W. Morton and in October by Mrs J. Browne and G. Hay. Uurlnjt the afternoon a duet was contributed by Mesdaraes H. <W. Hes- ’ kip and’Williams, a song by Mrs Merritt -and' a- recitation, by Miss Hazel v 6rd. The function was held in the internes of the Cradle 8011.. The hostesses frfece -Mosdames May arid’Matherßon.
