MODEL YACHTING
In a strong north-easterly wind, ths Christchurch Model Yacht Club sailed th« ninth club race of the season on Saturday at Victoria Lake, and 11 boats competed. Following were the results:— First Heat—C. White's Laura (handicap 3min" 50sec), 1; *B. Walls's Sure <4mm 40sec) 2; W. S. Kingston s Sans Atout (2min lOsec), 3; R. C. Munro's Dolphin (scr), 4; W. Beauchamp's Avenger tSmia 50sec), 5. Time, 33min 20sec. Second Heat—Sure 1: R. Reid's Banshee (4min lOsec), 2; Dolphin 3; E. Hodges Linnet (4min 30sec), 4; Sans Atout 5. Time, 30min lOsec. The final result was:—Sure (13 points) 1. Laura (8 points) 2. Banshee and Dolphin (5 points) (equal) 3.
