LONDON. October 13. ' On October 9 the marriage of Mr Francis Loring Gwynne-Evans, younger | son of Sir Evan and Lady .GwynneEvans, of Oaklands Park, Newnham-on-Severn, Gloucestershire, and Miss Elisabeth Fforde Tipping, daughter of Mr J. Fforde Tipping, and the late Mrs Fforde Tipping, of Opawa, Christchurch, took place at St. Peter's Church, Eaton square. The Rev. F. A. Iremonger, Prebendary Austin Thompson (vicar), and the Rev. F. J. Smith officiated. In the absence of her father, the bride was given away by Mr F. C. Fforde. She wore a classical gown of parchment-tinted satin, with a rounded train from the skirt. The bodice had a draped neckline and bell-shaped sleeves. A halo of stiffened tulle, edged by pearls, held her veil of white tulle, and she carried a sheaf of auratum lilies. Eight children walked hand-in-hand behind the bride. They were: Anthony Crawley-Boevey, John Parshall, Nicholas Buckley, and Christopher Bathurst, and Misses Anne Cooper, cousin of the bride, Gillian and Elizabeth Dalrymple, and Gabrielle Collins. The girls had long frocks of parchment organza over white taffeta slips. They wore wreaths of stephanotis and lilies of the valley, and they carried gilded baskets of mixed white flowers. DANCE AT SPRINGSTON There was a good attendance at a dance arranged by members of the Springston Tennis and Cricket Clubs. Music was supplied by Mr C. White's band, and extras were played by Miss M.
