CAR OVERTURNS
MRS T. H. M'COMBS ESCAPES INJURY
Mrs T. H. McCombs, wife of the member of Parliament for Lyttelton, and her infant son, had a fortunate escape from injury when the car which she was driving overturned at Sumner yesterday.
The accident occurred at the corner of Nayland street and Wakefield avenue, where Mrs McCombs's car came into collision with another vehicle. Her car, a light one, was overturned, but nobody was injured in the accident.
TRUCK AND TROLLEY-BUS COLLIDE
A truck driven by Douglas Gilmour Donaldson was badly damaged when it collided with a trolley-bus at the intersection of Fitzgerald avenue and Tuam street last evening about 6.30, but nobody was injured. The bus was travelling south along the avenue, and the truck was travelling west along Tuam street.
