TASMAN FARES NOT AFFECTED (l'lli.SS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, September 11. The local agents of the Canadian Australasian Royal Mail Line stated that these fares also apply to the trans-Pacific lines between New Zealand and North America. The fares between New Zealand and Australia are not affected. The New Zealand Shipping Company states that the increase, which will-operate in all the major British lines trading between the United Kingdom and New Zealand will apply to all classes, and any passengers who have booked since September 10 for sailings after October 1 will pay the new rates. Those passengers who have already paid their deposits will be booked at the old rates, and those who have reservations, but have not yet paid the deposits, will have the benefit of the old rates provided the deposits are paid before October 11.
