TRANS TASMAN AIR SERVICE
PROGRESS REPORTED TOWARDS ESTABLISHMENT CANBERRA, September 10. The Minister for External Affairs (Sir George Pearce) said in the Senate that definite progress had been made in a scheme for the establishment of a trans-Tasman air service under the joint control of the United Kingdom, Australian, and New Zealand Governments. It was not possible, however, to say whether the service would be in proration by December.
