ADOPTION OF BALLS FOR MATCH PLAY VENUE OF CANTERBURY CHAMPIONSHIPS A decision to adopt the Slazenger ball for the Canterbury championships and the Dunlop ball for the Easter tournament was reached at a meeting of the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association's management committee yesterday. Mr J. Mercer presided. Members decided to apply to th« New Zealand Association for permission to hold the Canterbury championships at Christmas time in Christchurch, and to hold the Easter tournament as usual.'
