WOODFULL AND BRADMAN DISAGREE WITH OPINION (Received September 10, 11.16 pan.) ADELAIDE, September 10. A stir in cricketing circles has arisen over a reported utterance of Dr. Robertson, chairman of the . Board of Control, who said he feared that English cricket would never in his time reach the Australian standard. Bradman, Woodfull, and other leading cricket officials disagree. Woodfull declared in an interview: "Events do not bear out Dr. Robertson's view. I thought the Englishmen were within an ace of victory on the last tour. Bradman said: "The Englishmen will sooner or later win again; and Australian cricket will be all the better for it."
