HEARING OF DIVORCE CASES . A Bitting of the Supreme Court was held at Greymouth yesterday before his Honour Mr Justice Northqroft. Annie McNamara (Mr J. W. Hannan) Petitioned for dissolution of her marriage from Stephen McNamara on the grounds of separation. The action was hot A decree nisi was granted, to be made absolute in three months, Reuben Cooper (Mr W. D. Taylor) Petitioned for dissolution of his marriage from Emily Beatrice Cooper on •he grounds of separation. The action *as undefended, A decree nisi was
granted, to be made absolute alter three months. ~ .. . A petition for adjudication of William Robin, a bankrupt, was granted on the application of Oriflen and S7 Eric Beumelberg was granted a discharge of bankruptcy on the motion of Mr Kitchingham.
SPORTS FIXTURES POSTPONED
With one exception, all hockey and basketball fixtures in the Buller dist -ict were postponed yesterday because of the bad weather. The only match played was a women’s hookey fixture, played between Rivals and Stockton, at Stockton. Rivals won by 2 goals to 0. Mrs Todd and Miss N. Lockington were the scorers.
