ALL SAINTS’ CHURCH, WAIAU
♦ MEETING OF PARISHIONERS .the annual general meeting of parishioners of All Saints’ Church, Waiau. was held iu the Library Hall. The vicar, the Rev. F. J. Daynes presided. There was a good attendance. Mr H. T. Knight tendered hts resignation as honorary secretary, treasurer, and trustee, because of ill-health. The resignation was accepted with regret. In his place the meeting ap- ■ ointed Mr T. F. Northcoio, of “Highfield,” Waiau. The following committee was elected:—Mesdames D. C. Macfarlane, P. R. Dearden, S. Mander, and A. G. Creed, Messrs W. H. Atkinson, F. S. Bowron, G. S. Beaven, E Beaven, R. Chaff-y, R. Gardner, C. Hosking, H. T. Knight, S. Mander, T. F. Northcote. Mr Mervyn Rogers was appointed auditor. The report and balance-sheet showed a very satisfactory position, and the vicar thanked all church workers. It was decid-- to pay a further instalment of £SO off the church loan.
