NATIONAL INSURANCE IN AUSTRALIA
FEDERAL PLAN TO BE ISSUE AT COMING ELECTION (Received June 2, 11.50 p.m.) MELBOURNE, June 2. The Federal Cabinet has resolved to draft legislation aiming at national insurance, merging all Government social services in a uniform plan controlled by a Federal Health Council consisting of representatives of all the state governments. The proposals will be an important issue at the coming General Election.
