ELECTION OF OFFICERS The following officers were elected last evening by the council of the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society;— President, Mr G. L. PomfretDodd; vice-presidents, Dr. D. McK Dickson and Mr George Ebert; finance committee, Messrs C. H. Lawrence, J. Mackenzie, and F. Banks; rangers’ committee, Messrs N. McGillivray, G. Ebert, and Dr. Dickson; fish committee, Messrs A. W. Parrott, J. W. Simpson, C. H. Stonyer, F. Brightling, A. G. Familton, L. A. Dixon, S. Wiffln, E L. Wyles, F. Banks, G. Ebert, J.
