SHEEP WORRIED BY DOG

LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE (press association telegram.) WELLINGTON, June 1. Mr J. H. Luxford, S.M., to-day held A. J. Tobin responsible for £55 damage in sheep worrying done by a dog he was looking after for his daughter. The Magistrate remarked that the law was exactly the same as that defining the liability of a keeper of a naturally wild animal which has escaped from confinement.
