VISIT OF DR. T. Z. KOO
NOTED CHINESE RELIGIOUS SPEAKER During this month New Zealand is to have a visit from Dr. T. Z. Koo, a well-known international figure, who is at present touring Australia. .Dr. Koo was here in 1931, and made many friends at that time. He represented China at the Conference of the Institute of Pacific Relations at Honolulu in 1928 and again at Yosemite, California, last year. He is an able and fearless exponent of the situation in China, but latterly he is even more recognised as one of the outstanding religious speakers of' the day, with a clear and strong message to the youth of all nations in their perplexities and difficulties. One of Dr. Koo’s sidelines is the study of the Chinese temple music. He plays the Chinese flute, and has .written the standard book on the subject. He will arrive in Christchurch on May 18.
