"HURLY BURLY"

STUDENTS' ANNUAL tfEVUE

The many attractions to be staged at the Canterbury College students' revue, "Hurly Burly," which will commence its season of three nights at the Theatre Royal next Tuesday, will be presented to the public in a professional manner. Rehearsals, some of them taking hours, are the order of the day; and each section is trying to make its act perfect.

An outstanding feature, ■ and one which will make an appeal to the public, is the dancing. Miss Perjgy Holmes has trained the men's, ballet, and Miss Rona Vaughan the women's ballet, both having been brought to a high standard. The programme will consist of at least 12 features, many of them decidedly ambitious. The producer, Mr Bernard Beeby, has in r stilled the keenest possible enthusiasm into every member of the cast. The music, which is of an exceptionally high order, will be under the directorship of Mr Fritz Seymour, with Mr Gordon V. Anderson as conductor. Included in the programme is a spectacular gymnastic display, which will present some new ideas in entertainment. The entire programme, is of an exceptionally high standard. Box plans are at the D.I.C.
