FINAL ROUND FOR MANNING CUP SATURDAY'S GAMES The eighth and final rotind of the Canterbury Bowling Centre's pennant competition for the Manning Cup was played on Saturday. The official result will be ready early this week, according to the secretary of the centre, Mr H. B. Oakey. During their stay in the city they will be the guests of the Christchurch Centre of the New Zealand Bowling Association. Yesterday afternoon the team was motored out to Waikuku and had afternoon tea at the Rangiora Bowling Club's pavilion. They were unanimous in expressing their enjoyment of the outing. To-day the Queensland men will play a match against Christchurch Centre delegates at United green at 2.15 p.m. The visitors will be welcomed by the president of the Christchurch Centre, Mr W. Healey, and by the Mayor, Mr J. W. Beanland. The team is staying at the New City Hotel,
