60 KILOWATTS
TO THE EDITOH OF THE P3ES3.
Sir, —In this location, on the edge of the South Canterbury downs, about 85 miles from Christchurch. the new 2YA station is a great improvement on the old. At night it is easily the best of the iour. being by far the loudest and clearest and can now be heard in the daytime, though not so strongly, 3YA and 4YA then being the best. This is considered a bad locality for reception.—Yours, etc. J.M.W. Hilton, January 30. 1937.
