ALLOWANCES TO WAR VETERANS
PAYMENT FOR FEBRUARY
Those who are in receipt of war veterans’ ruowances, and who were eligible for assistance from the Employment Promotion Fund, and who were advised that no further relief would be granted as from January 80, are now advised that further consideration has been given to the question, and it has been decided that, for the month of February, payment at the maximum rate of 10s a week for single men, and 15s a week for married men, will be made on application being made therefor during each of the weeks ending February 6, 13, 20, and 27. Application should be made by those eligible on their ordinary sustenance reporting days at the Government Employment Bureau. Those war allowance recipients- who were employed under No. 5 scheme should also make application at the bureau.
