CERTIFICATE NECESSARY
DAIRY FACTORY AND MANAGER
CHARGED (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) DUNEDIN, January 29. The first case of its type in the Dominion, involving a breach of the Dairy Industry Act, was brought in the Magistrate’s Court this morning, when the Omimi Dairy Factory was charged with employing Morris Raymond Gale as manager when he did not possess a certificate. Gale .was also charged with the offence. It was explained that the cases had been brought to apprise dairy factories . of their obligations. Heavy penalties were not sought. Gale had since satisfied the requirements for a certificate without difficulty. Defendants were ordered to pgy court costs.
