The spectators who assembled to witness the match between the Veterans and Post and Telegraph Clubs on the Hagley Parkoval were, rewarded with bright and sparkling cricket. Davie 34 and L. Clarkson 32 (both retired), B. Fraser 28, W. Cowlin 17, C. Wilkie 22 not out, and. It. Hyde 12 not out. W. J. Walter, for the Veterans, took fhe only two wickets that fell for 46 runs. The match was drawn.
