TRAIN INDICATORS

TO THE EDITOR OF THE PRESS. Sir,—l was very pleased to find this morning (Thursday) that, apparently in response to my previous letters, the direction board for carriages,, or indicator, on the Christchurch railway station platform, has been altered and is now set correctly for the West Coas*t, as well as for the Invercargill train. There are a number of other objectionable points which still remain to be attended to; but it is gratifying to find that this, the most glaring of all, has been put right.—Yours, etc., GEORGE INGRAM. January 14, 1937.
