FRIENDLY MATCH The Blue Star Taxis' team took ample revenge for two previous defeats this season when it defeated "The Press" at Sydenham Park yesterday afternoon by 127 runs on the first innings. Blue Star Taxis batted first and made 167 in a little more than an hour and a half (Woods 67, Hindle 29, Symons 21, Barrett 24), and "The Press" was dismissed for 40. For Blue Star Taxis, Hindle took seven wickets for 12 runs, and Symons two for 20. For "The Press," Stoneman took five for 40, Archer three for 36, and Cant one for 33.
