BRITISH MOTORISTS PAY MORE TAXES
(britisb omciAi wibeless.) RUGBY, January 13. Taxes to the amount of £32,320,043 were paid in respect of motor vehicles in the year ended November 30, 1936. This represents an increase of nearly £2,000,000 on the total of the previous year. The total number of motor vehicles, excluding those with trade licenses, on November 30 was 2,517,719, an increase of 180,997 on the number for the previous year.
