MEETING OF CHRISTCHURCH EAST CIRCUIT A credit balance of £3O 12s 3d was reported at the quarterly meeting of the Christchurch East Methodist circuit. presided over by the Rev. H. L. Fiebig. Home mission returns showed a total of £212 and foreign missions £214 6s 3d. Collections for the Methodist Orphanage amounted to £2O 6s 3d. Returns showed that there were 659 senior members. 817 Sunday school pupils, and 94 teachers. ' , The Rev. Gardiner Brown reported that about £SO was in hand for the new church at New Brighton.
