“INVISIBLE MAN” A REALITY
ITALIAN SCIENTIST’S CLAIM (UNITED FEES* ASSOCIATION—COPTBIOHT.) (Received January 14, 1.15 a.m.) ROME, January 13. The “invisible man” is now a reality instead of a fictional character. An Italian scientist claims to have perfected: a ray which makes people invisible. He describes an experiment in which the ray . was directed on two women engaged in conversation. They gradually faded and disappeared, but their conversation was still audible. The effect is obtained by means of an electro optical combination with emanation of special electric rays similar to X-rays,
