DR. TILLY ARD SERIOUSLY INJURED

MOTOR ACCIDENT IN AUSTRALIA (Received January 13, 1.20 a.m.) SYDNEY, January 12. Dr. R. J. Tillyard, formerly the Commonwealth Government Entomologist, was injured in.a motorcar, accident near Goulburn to-day. His condition to-night was critical. He is believed to have severe spinal injuries. His daughter, who was driving the car, was also injured. Dr. Tillyard was formerly director of the Cawthron Institute, Nelson, New Zealand.
