INCREASING DEFICIT IN U.S. POST OFFICE
REVENUES RISE LAST YEAR (Received January 8, 10.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, January 8. The Post Office showed a total deficit of dollars for the fiscal year ended on June 30, 1936, almost 23,000,000 dollars greater than .in the previous year, when there was a deficit of 65,807,000 dollars. Postal revenues, however, total 665,000,000 dollars, which represents ah increase of 34,000,000 over the previous year.
