Hannaford were entertained at a largely attended social evening by, the residents of Sedgemere. Dance music was played by Lambie’s orchestra,,, and Mr, C. Marsh wasVinaster of cere'nioriies. At cards the successful players were Mesdames C; H. Morton’ and H; Schnelle, and Messrs A. H. Duff and J. Anderson. . After supper, Mr J. T. Parkin, chairman of the Hall Committee, spoke of the good work done by Mr .Hannaford a number of. years as secretary 'to the '.Hall Committee, f and of the regard in which he and Mrs Hannaford were held.
